Statement of Platform:
This past year I was honored to work on the AANA Cultural Assessment Task Force. It was an enlightening experience to discover the potentially limiting values in our organization and learn how they impact the growth and advancement of our profession. I believe it is a crucial time to be an active member in our profession and safeguard the future of CRNAs. As a TxANA board of director, I will be innovative and strategize to face the challenges of today. Serving you—the CRNAs of Texas —is my ultimate priority, and I will work diligently to advance the profession of nurse anesthesia.
