The 2026 TxANA Annual Convention brought Texas’ nurse anesthesia community together for three unforgettable days of education, advocacy, hands-on learning, professional growth, and connection.
From timely conversations about the future of CRNA practice to practical clinical education and honest discussions about wellness and building a sustainable career, Convention reflected the strength, expertise, and energy of our profession.

Attendees explored topics including AI in anesthesia, the evolving anesthesia market, acute pain management, career and financial success, advocacy, and the future of CRNA practice.
Hands-on experiences such as the Ultrasound Lab and TxANA Airway Rodeo strengthened critical clinical skills, while conversations about burnout, metabolic health, and career sustainability recognized the importance of supporting both the profession and the people who practice it.
Advocacy remained at the heart of Convention, with candid conversations about using the CRNA voice to advance nurse anesthesiology in Texas.
The inaugural TxANA PAC Casino Night carried that momentum into Saturday evening, bringing members together for fun, connection, and purpose. Together, attendees raised more than $13,000 to support TxANA PAC and the association’s continued advocacy efforts.
We celebrated TxANA Award recipients, welcomed association leadership, highlighted SRNA scholarship and poster presentations, and watched students from across Texas put their knowledge and school spirit to the test during College Bowl.
These moments reminded us that TxANA’s strength comes from its members—professionals who lead in the clinical setting, advocate for their patients and profession, mentor the next generation, and show up for one another.
