Texas Association of Nurse Anesthetists Appoints Andrea Pee as Executive Director/CEO

AUSTIN, TX—The Texas Association of Nurse Anesthetists (TxANA) Board of Directors has appointed Andrea Pee as the new Executive Director/CEO of TxANA.

“We are excited for Andrea to continue her work with TxANA in this new role,” said Amy Blok, DNP, CRNA, President of TxANA. “Her experience in various roles with TxANA positions her well to serve the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and patients of Texas.”

In April 2023, I had a great opportunity to visit Cambodia. A delegation of CRNAs representing the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA), from throughout the United States, including Puerto Rico, met in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. AANA’s past president, Debbie Malina CRNA, DNSc, MBA, FNAP, led our delegation. We visited four different hospitals to learn about their advancements in nurse anesthesia and explored Cambodia's history, culture, and cuisine.
