“It is a great honor to continue my work serving fellow CRNAs and nurse anesthesia residents nationwide,” Riddle said. “CRNAs are among the Nation’s most trusted professions and are critical in providing patients safe and easy access to anesthesia wherever and whenever they need it.”
James Stockman, MSNA, CRNA, NSPM-C, President of TxANA, extended his congratulations to Riddle, eager to see Texas values well represented at the national level. “Dr. Riddle’s servant leadership and passion for our profession have been made apparent during the years he served on TxANA’s Board of Directors and various committees,” Stockman said. “TxANA wishes him the best as he leads AANA. His passion has inspired me and many others to become more involved in advocating for our profession.” In addition to his leadership roles, Riddle is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice in Nurse Anesthesia at Texas Christian University (TCU). For more than twelve years, Riddle has provided guidance, education, and mentoring to nursing students in the largest graduate education program at TCU. Riddle created and now leads an extensive network of affiliates that advance translational research and evidence implementation to inform health policy and practice internationally with such groups as the World Health Organization and the International Council of Nurses.
