Esther Akindayomi, CRNA

Meet Esther Akindayomi, a 10-year CRNA in the Rio Grande Valley who’s living life one adventure at a time.

Esther is a traveler at heart. “I plan my trips first, then build my work schedule around them. God created a masterpiece in this world, and I want to see as much of it as possible.” When she’s not exploring the globe, she’s at home with her husband and boys—one of her greatest anchors.

Travel isn’t her only passion. Esther pioneered a freelance CRNA model and built a team that grew from 4 CRNAs in 2020 to nearly 22 today. She also started a local CRNA Facebook group in 2017 that grew from gatherings in her home to an annual sponsored dinner during National CRNA Week.

Beyond anesthesia, Esther is a speaker, coach, author, and wellness clinic owner. Her go-to quote? “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Thank you, Esther, for pioneering new models of practice and reminding us to chase our dreams—both in and out of the OR!
