TxANA Board of Directors Appoints Pee Interim Executive Director/CEO
AUSTIN, TX—The Texas Association of Nurse Anesthetists (TxANA) Board of Directors has appointed Andrea Pee as the Interim Executive Director/CEO of the association.
Pee has worked in various capacities at TxANA for eight years, most recently as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
“Andrea has shown incredible commitment to the advancement of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and their practice in the state of Texas,” said James Stockman, MSNA, CRNA, NSPM-C, President of TxANA. “Her knowledge in operations, association management experience, and background in legislative advocacy makes her a great fit for this role.”
Pee brings a core understanding of the organization’s mission and commitment to serving CRNAs and patients in Texas, according to Stockman.
“I am honored for the opportunity to continue serving CRNAs in Texas in my new role as Interim Executive Director,” Pee said. “It’s been a thrill serving TxANA for the last eight years. I believe we have a strong foundation at TxANA, and I hope to continue growing the profession and patient safety.”
Pee has begun executive duties, including critical work at the Texas Capitol.
“Through her years of service, she has gained significant insights into the needs of our membership,” Stockman said. “The TxANA Board of Directors is excited to work with Pee during this time of organizational transition.”
